Tom Query is an experienced counselor/therapist with a first hand knowledge of a wide variety of issues, problems and situations. He is excellent in communication, warm, relational, non-judgmental and direct. He works to hear the issues patients are seeking help with. Tom Query is the spouse of Melissa Dickinson, founder of the Georgia EDS Support group, which has over 400 members. Tom and Melissa are professional counselors who practice together in Atlanta, Georgia along with their support animals Ollie and Poca. As well as a general practice with individuals and relationships, they specialize in gender and sexuality. Both are sex therapists.
They have a 17-year-old son and Tom has an adult daughter. Tom has been a psychotherapist for over thirty years. He has a history of working with mental illness, developmental disabilities, spirituality, crisis and grief. He was one of the mental health professionals deployed in New York after 911. He is a teacher/supervisor for graduate students obtaining their professional license. For this workshop Tom comes as a caregiver with all of its challenges and rewards.
