Claude Hamonet, MD, PhD (anthropology) is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist who specializes in assessment of disability and its links with disease. Dr. Hamonet received his diploma of specialist in rehabilitation medicine from the University of Paris. He was the founder of rehabilitation Department in the faculty of medicine in Paris 12 (Universitary Hospital Henri Mondor) and in Algeria (Universitary Hospital of Tixeraine and Department of Medicine, University of Algiers). He received his PhD in “handicapology and anthropology” from University Paris 5 René Descartes. He has published in French and in English about EDS. He speaks in medical congresses about clinical features, clinical diagnosis and epidemiology of EDS.
